The Body Positivity Journey was created to provide a safe container for women to explore their relationships with their bodies in a supported, step-by-step approach.
For as long as you can remember, you have been surrounded by a societal definition of beauty and pressured to meet those standards. It comes from all angles - the media, your family, peers… everywhere you look there is a message that seeps into your subconscious and results in the thought pattern “I am not good enough.”
The Body Positivity Journal was written to facilitate a deep personal exploration into the space of “I am good enough, just the way I am.” The Body Positivity Journey is a 6-week experience in which you and a group of souls on the same journey towards body positivity and acceptance will work intimately with me, week by week, through the Body Positivity Journal and have the opportunity to participate in live group coaching calls with me.
A positive body image isn’t a final destination but a journey, one of self-acceptance composed of conscious daily decisions and commitment to a greater awareness of why one feels as one does. Though the journey may be difficult at times, know that finding liberation from body dissatisfaction is possible.
This Journey is an extension from my heart to yours, offering the medicine that has helped me liberate myself from the dissatisfaction I carried around for so many years. It is an offering to help you recognize the weight of your beliefs about your body and a place to lay those burdens to rest, revealing the divine nature of your true essence along the way.
Here is a peek into what we’ll cover, week by week!
Week 1: Unpacking Your Relationship with Your Body
This section of the journey provides the opportunity to explore the negative thoughts swirling around your mind and where they came from. It’s time to shine a light on the source of your negative body image.
Week 2: Reevaluating Outside Influences on Your Body
This section allows you the opportunity to evaluate the stories you tell yourself about your appearance and decide if they are serving your highest and best good.
Week 3: Treating Yourself with Compassion
Throughout this section of your journey, you will learn how to lovingly uproot sensations of criticism, anger, and unworthiness, and sow the seeds of self-compassion. This work cultivates a deeper sense of harmony and balance in your life.
Week 4: Embracing a Positive Mindset
The way you talk to yourself matters. Your inner dialogue paints your entire world, magnetizing experiences that match it. This section is all about unlearning self-critical patterns, and offers the choice to explore how speaking to yourself in a kinder manner can alter your experience with your body.
Week 5: Uncoupling Your Self-Worth from Your Body Image
You are so much more than your body! In this section, you will be gently guided to a space where you feel safe and excited to acknowledge and illuminate the wonderful facets of your entire being. This part of our journey will reveal how your worth is an internal experience and will guide you to meet your higher self.
Week 6: Practicing Self-Care as a Form of Self-Love
Everyone, including you, deserves to feel free and happy in their bodies and live life on their own terms. In this section, we will get clear on your needs and learn how to become your own advocate for self-care.
